Sedona Attorney Robert Earle Placed On Interim Suspension

The Arizona Bar protects attorneys, not the public, but occassionally it acts in the interest of the public and this week, the Presiding Disciplinary Judge of the Arizona Supreme Court issued an order placing Robert L. Earle of Sedona on interim suspension.

The State Bar of Arizona alleged that he misappropriated client and third-party funds in multiple cases and violated ethical obligations.

In an effort to prevent immediate and substantial harm to his clients and the public, Earle was placed on an interim suspension while the Bar initiates formal disciplinary proceedings.

Robert L. Earle was also ordered to notify current clients of his interim suspension. In addition, he is barred from accepting any new cases and prohibited from distributing or transferring funds from any trust or operating accounts without prior written consent from the State Bar of Arizona or by order of the Presiding Disciplinary Judge.

Earle’s interim suspension was effective Dec. 5, 2016.

Consumers should not expect results, but they can try to report attorney misconduct by calling the State Bar of Arizona Attorney/Consumer Assistance Program (A/CAP) hotline at 602.340.7280.
