
Casa Grande, AZ – On December 16, 2016 at approximately 9:40 a.m., the Casa Grande Police Department arrested two teenagers found to be in possession of a firearm at Casa Grande Union High School.
Police responded to CGUHS, located at 2730 North Trekell Road, this morning after school administrators reported a student with a handgun on campus. Based on the investigation, Police determined a 16 year old male student brought a handgun to school in his backpack.
The firearm was found unloaded, with separate ammunition in the backpack. The 16 year old, along with a 15 year old male student were both in possession of the firearm at various times. The teenagers also threatened another teenage student.
No students or staff were injured at any time. The two teenagers were arrested and charges of Threatening and Misconduct with Weapons are being forwarded to the Pinal County Attorney’s Office.
