
On January 14, 2017 around 2:50 p.m., the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit was doing follow up on two burglaries and came across a vehicle described in at least one of the burglaries.The burglaries occurred at a local church in Arizona City and a elementary school in Picacho AZ.
The vehicle was in the area of Yale Ave and Hannah Ave in Casa Grande. While attempting to make contact with the two suspects inside the residence both fled on foot, but were eventually located in a nearby residence. They have been identified as 42-year-old Cody Williams and 42-year-old Brian Swetitch .
The church was burglarized on two separate occasions this past week. The pastor of the church reported items to exceed over $10,000 in value. The Pinal County Crime Suppression Unit has identified several items taken from both the church and school at the residence.
There were several weapons located throughout the property. Both suspects are prohibited possessors and were booked into the Pinal County Jail.
