The Sierra Vista Police Department responded to reports of a drive-by shooting in the area of the 100 block of N. 7th Street at 2:26 p.m. today.
Witnesses stated that several subjects in a vehicle fired multiple rounds at a group of pedestrians north of an apartment complex in the area. They reported that people were fleeing on foot after being shot at. Officers recovered evidence at the scene indicating that multiple guns were involved. No one was injured.
SVPD investigators understand that there are multiple witnesses to the shooting who have yet to come forward. They also believe that rounds have likely impacted backyards and possibly walls and fences at the apartment complex.
