The Sierra Vista Police Department arrested a local man early Monday evening for child molestation.
On Friday, Feb. 10, police received a report alleging that 52-year-old Gordon Mason Miller, a Sierra Vista resident, had recently molested a child. Detectives with the SVPD Special Operations Bureau were able to gather evidence to support this allegation on Monday.
At about 5:26 p.m. on Monday, officers made contact with Miller in the 3000 block of East Fry Boulevard and arrested him without incident. Miller was booked into Cochise County Jail for molestation of a child and indecent exposure. He remains in custody and is currently being held without a bond.
