Douglas CBP Officers Seize $253K In Marijuana

TUCSON, Ariz. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Raul Hector Castro Port of Entry in Douglas, Arizona arrested two Mexican nationals earlier this week for separate alleged attempts to smuggle more than 500 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $253,000.

On Tuesday, a canine helped officers locate 137 pounds of marijuana in an Acura sedan driven by a 26-year-old man, also from Agua Prieta, Sonora.
