On Monday, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Pima County Sheriff deputies responded to the U.S. Bank located at 7110 North Oracle Road for the report of a robbery.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that a male suspect entered the Safeway store where the bank is located, handed the bank teller a bag and demanded cash from the drawer. The teller gave the cash to the suspect, at which time he exited the store.
The suspect is described as:
• Caucasian, appearing to be in his 40’s
• Approximately 6’ in height, with a medium build
• Last seen wearing a dark colored baseball hat over a ski hat, sunglasses, a white button down long sleeve shirt, and dark colored pants
Robbery Assault detectives responded and took over the investigation. Detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for a robbery which occurred December 9, 2016, at the same location.
They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
