Tucson Vandal Arrested, Linked To Over 100 Graffiti Attacks

The Tucson Police Department has arrested an individual linked to over one hundred different graffiti incidents.

In May of last year, officers from Operations Division Midtown arrested 21-year-old Cedric Acton for misdemeanor criminal damage after spray painting graffiti onto a city curb.

The Tucson Police Department Tag Unit (Graffiti Unit) followed up on the information and were able to link Cedric Acton to a total of 124 different acts of vandalism/graffiti throughout the city of Tucson and Pima County. Acton was using the moniker “Eroe.” The cost to clean the different locations totaled $12,136.01.

On March 8, 2017, Acton was booked into the Pima County Jail on a Class 4 Felony for Criminal Damage Graffiti – Over $10,000. The investigation is ongoing.
