The Tucson Police Department has arrested an individual linked to over one hundred different graffiti incidents.
In May of last year, officers from Operations Division Midtown arrested 21-year-old Cedric Acton for misdemeanor criminal damage after spray painting graffiti onto a city curb.
The Tucson Police Department Tag Unit (Graffiti Unit) followed up on the information and were able to link Cedric Acton to a total of 124 different acts of vandalism/graffiti throughout the city of Tucson and Pima County. Acton was using the moniker “Eroe.” The cost to clean the different locations totaled $12,136.01.
On March 8, 2017, Acton was booked into the Pima County Jail on a Class 4 Felony for Criminal Damage Graffiti – Over $10,000. The investigation is ongoing.
