Maricopa County Detention Officer Attacked By Inmate In Critical Condition

On Tuesday morning, a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Detention Officer was attacked by an inmate at the Lower Buckeye Jail. The officer sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified officer is in critical condition.
