The body of a Pima County bicyclist has been identified as Craig King. Mr. King’s body was discovered along the shoulder of River Road.
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, on May 24, 2021, at approximately 7:00 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a collision involving a cyclist on River Road between Dodge Road and Alvernon Way. When they arrived, deputies discovered the body of the 68-year-old King.
Deputies found no damage to the bicycle, and no obvious injuries were found.
The Sheriff’s Office says that it appears Mr. King may have suffered from a medical issue.
