Glasser Family Receives Check From Maricopa County Sheriff’s Memorial Fund

Sheriff Joe Arpaio Will Present The Family of Phoenix Police Officer David Glasser With A Check From The Sheriff’s Memorial Fund Today

A check was presented tomorrow for $25,000 from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Memorial Fund to the family of Phoenix Police Officer David Glasser. Officer David Glasser was killed in the line of duty as he served his community last month.

The Sheriff’s Memorial Fund is a non-profit entity that provides money to families of fallen or injured officers and deputies. The Sheriff’s Memorial Fund differs from other law enforcement funds in that there are no administrative costs to support the entity so 100 percent of the money raised goes towards the victims and their families and has donated nearly a million dollars since its inception in 1998.

This year alone, the Sheriff’s Memorial Fund has donated about $70,000 to aid police families who have lost loved ones.
