On Thursday, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Oro Valley Police Department responded to a report of a dead body located in the area of North Shannon Road and Camino Christy.
When OVPD officers arrived they found a male body in an advanced stage of decomposition, within Pima County Sheriff’s Department jurisdiction. Deputies, along with the Homicide Unit, responded and took over the scene.
The body was released to the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner, who will determine the cause of death. This is an ongoing investigation.
