
The Counter Narcotics Alliance (CNA) recently received information reference a male possibly selling drugs and committing home invasions in the Tucson area. The officers and agents from CNA immediately began working with the information provided, in collaboration with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, which eventually led them to identify five adult male members of a home invasion crew.
On Wednesday, with the assistance of the Tucson Police Department SWAT and Air Unit, all five men were arrested without incident at a Tucson area hotel. The men were arrested prior to committing a planned home invasion. Multiple weapons and other items that could have been used during the course of a home invasion were recovered.
The five men have been identified as follows:
- 25-year-old Santos Jesus Rodriguez
- 32-year-old Luis Angel Coronado
- 26-year-old Gabriel Abran Lopez
- 28-year-old James Joe Johnson
- 25-year-old Lonnie James Rodriguez
The men were arrested for various felonies including Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy to Commit Kidnapping, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the 1st Degree and narcotics related offenses. They were transported and booked into the Pima County Jail. Their booking photographs have been provided.
Detectives are furthering their investigation to determine if the men were involved in any prior incidents. They are asking anyone with information to please call 88-CRIME.
