Maricopa County Sheriff’s detectives responded to an area in Palo Verde, AZ. for what appears to be an abandoned horse. Animal detectives found the severely underweight horse in the area of Palo Verde Road and Narramore Road and are investigating this case.
Detectives spoke to local residents and they told detectives they have never seen the horse before and don’t know who owns the horse.
The horse will be taken to a local Vetenarian and will be evaluated and medically treated. After the horse is cleared from the Vetenarian, it will be taking to Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s (M.A.S.H) unit until it can be adopted out.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help to locate the owner of this horse. If anyone has seen this horse before based on the color and markings or who knows the owner is asked to contact the Sheriff’s office at 602-876-1011.
