Around 4:30 Sunday afternoon Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home at Jackrabbit and Dunlap where an adult male had been shot multiple times.
It appears that this began as a family gathering when the victim and suspect who are believed to be friends, got into a fight and then the shooting occurred.
The suspect fled the scene. The victim was taken to the hospital by a family member and his condition is unknown at this time but he is being treated at a local area hospital for his injuries.
There were juveniles at the home during the shooting as well but they are all uninjured.
The suspect Robert Scott Eyherabide was located deceased at the intersection of Jackrabbit and MC85.
The victim has no been identified.
