On Friday August 19, 2016, 45-year-old Jorge Martin Felix was arrested in connection with two bank robberies at the Wells Fargo inside a Safeway store at 2940 West Valencia Road. Following a media release, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department received multiple citizen tips that shed some light on the case. With this new information, and investigative follow-up, detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Felix.
The case was turned over to the Fugitive Investigation Strike Team (F.I.S.T.). The Fugitive Investigation Strike Team was able to locate Felix, which led to his arrest. He was booked into the Pima County Jail for two counts of robbery.
