The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has identified the driver in this morning’s fatal accident at 71st Ave and Broadway as 33 year old Nuvia Villalobos (DOB 10/20/1982) of Phoenix.
Villalobos was traveling southbound on 71st ave when the vehicle she was in collided with a school bus which was traveling west bound on Broadway.
The driver of the school bus was the only occupant of the bus and received minor injuries.
The jeep driven by Villalobos had a minor child on board who was taken to St. Joes Hospital and is now at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The investigation into the accident continues.
