Friday nigth at approximately 11:45 PM , YCSO deputies were dispatched to the 4000 block of E Airport Drive, Rimrock, regarding a 25-year-old man who had been shot.
The suspect had immediately fled the scene, described as an Hispanic male, about 5’9,” 150-175 pounds, wearing a dark blue or black bandana, black or dark colored pants, black gloves and armed with a handgun.
No vehicle was seen or heard. The victim died at the scene.
Detectives from the YCSO Criminal Investigations Bureau have been on scene since early Saturday morning to investigate. At this time, it appears the victim may have been targeted.
Saturday evening the Sheriff’s department arrested the seventeen year old suspect Saturday evening. Further details will be provided when available by the Sheriff’s department.
