On September 22, 2016, 11:30 a.m., a man “with a distinctly large belly” committed an armed robbery at the Massage Envy located at 2510 W. Chandler Boulevard. During the commission of the crimes, the suspect displayed a firearm and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
On October 20, 2016, the large bellied man robbed a Massage Envy store in Scottsdale.
After robbing the Massage Envy in Scottsdale, the suspect returned to the Massage Envy store in Chandler. While he did not commit a crime on October 20th, employees recognized the suspect from the September 22nd incident and reported the encounter to the Chandler Police Department.
The suspect is described as:
● a light-skinned male
● approximately 45-55 years of age
● has a raspy voice
● is between five-foot eleven inches tall and six-foot two inches tall and has a heavy build with a distinctly large belly
During all three encounters, the suspect has wearing dark framed sunglasses, a blue hoodie type sweatshirt, a light blue or white surgical mask, and a hat.
