On Thursday, October 27, 2016, at approximately 10:20 p.m, Pima County Sheriff deputies responded to a home in the 3700 block of West Raintree Drive for a report of a burglary.
When they arrived, deputies learned sometime between 5:30 p.m and 10:20 p.m., a male suspect broke into the victim’s home and took an unknown amount of electronic and jewelry items.
Burglary detectives have taken over the investigation and obtained video surveillance from a neighbor of the victim. After reviewing video footage, detectives determined that prior to burglarizing the victim’s home, the suspect had approached the neighbor’s home, rang the doorbell, and waited to see if anyone came to the door, before driving away.
A short time later, the neighbor located the suspect’s vehicle and witnessed him carrying items out of the victim’s home before leaving in a light-colored Chevrolet Suburban.
The suspect is described as:
- Hispanic or Caucasian male, bald head
- Approximately 5’10” in height, 200 pounds
- Last seen wearing a University of Arizona shirt, and long, baggy shorts.
Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. You can also submit an anonymous tip, with the potential for a reward, by text, phone, or by going to 88-CRIME.org.
