In November, Sierra Vista Police Department asked for assistance to locate a suspect, Tyler “Goofy” Nahoopi, who was allegedly involved in two crimes. On Friday, Nahoopi was taken into custody by Sierra Vista Police Department officers.
Police were searching for Nahoopi, a transient in the Sierra Vista area. He was allegedly involved in an attempted murder reported to the police on Thursday, November 10, and an armed robbery reported on Sunday, November 13. He is also wanted by the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office for a misdemeanor warrant.
