On Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at approximately 10:25 a.m., Foothills District deputies responded to the 5500 block of Little River Lane for a report of a burglary. When deputies arrived, they discovered multiple items had been taken out of the victim’s vehicle.
On Tuesday, December 27, 2016, deputies responded to the Wal-Mart located at 7635 North La Cholla Boulevard for a supplemental report in relation to the burglary in September. When deputies arrived, they learned that a check taken during the burglary had been used at the Wal-Mart.
Video surveillance of the transaction showed a female suspect using the stolen check. She is described as Caucasian with long dark hair, appearing to be in her mid-to-late 40’s. Burglary detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect from this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
