On February 1, 2017, William Daniel Randolph, age 26, was arrested in Casa Grande in connection with the disappearance of Cody Robert Virgin, age 25.
William was booked into the Pinal County Jail on charges of First Degree Murder, Concealment of a Human Body and Hindering an Investigation.
It is believed that Randolph killed Cody and hid his body.
Cody was last heard from by family members on Monday January 30th, 2017 at approximately 9:30 p.m. He told his family that he had met a girl on Facebook and was going to meet her and possibly go to a bonfire later that night, according to Sheriff Lamb.
Cody’s vehicle, a red 2013 Dodge Dart was located south of Silver Bell Estates in the desert area abandoned.
Cody had not shown up for work nor has he contacted his employer. Cody had worked as a correctional officer at La Palma Correctional Center in Eloy beginning in June 2015.
