Rollover Lands Five Pinal County Teens In Hospital

On February 9, 2017 at approximately 1:00 p.m., Pinal County deputies responded to Gail Rd. and Snap Shot Rd., San Tan Valley, in reference to a single vehicle rollover, involving 5 teenagers between the ages of 15 and 16 .

The 16 year old male driver was driving and had just turned west from Gary Rd. onto Gail Rd, which has a posted speed limit of 40 miles per hour. Initial reports would reflect he accelerated to no less than 70 miles per hour. While doing so, the driver lost control of the vehicle and began to rollover, where the vehicle came to rest on its roof.

All 5 juveniles reported they were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision and no one was ejected from the vehicle as first reported. All 5 juveniles were transported by ambulance to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
