
On February 20, 2017, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Pima County Sheriff deputies responded to the 10400 block of South Epperson Lane for a report of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found 37-year-old Saul Saucedo-Zavala with gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately began rendering aid, until Rural Metro Fire Department arrived and took over treating Mr. Saucedo-Zavala. Despite their efforts, Mr. Saucedo-Zavala was pronounced deceased on scene.
The Homicide Unit responded and took over the investigation. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect.
The suspect is described as:
- Hispanic man in his 30’s
- Last seen wearing a gray baseball hat and gray shirt
- Driving a small gray pickup.
