Kimminau, Sanders Should Not Be On Pima County Superior Court Bench

By Cynthia Oxman

A vacancy is open for a judicial seat on the Pima County Superior Court bench. Brian Kimminau, a Tucson attorney, and Ken Sanders, a current commissioner on the Pima County Superior Court bench, have both applied for the position.

Both Kimminau and Sanders have been instrumental in destroying my family’s relationship with my granddaughter. Ken Sanders denied my daughter the basic U.S. Constitutional right of due process. She appealed and won. It is now a published appeal, (see SP20060213 Laura Cruz v Robert Garcia Jr.).

Mr. Kimminau has repeatedly lied to the courts about our relationship with our granddaughter. He sees nothing wrong with our granddaughter living with a man who was arrested for sex with a minor, and with a retired Tucson Police officer who had a sexual relationship with a 15yr old girl he had known since she was 9. Kimminau and Sanders should NOT be on the judicial bench.

Please let the Pima County Commission on Trial Court Appointments know that you oppose their application by sending a brief email to jnc@courts.az.gov or write to: Pima County Commission on Trial Court Appointments 1501 W.
