Carson Middle School had been placed on lock down earlier today while Tucson Police Department officers searched for a student who had what one district official described as a BB gun near campus.
Tucson Police Department reports that a motorist, who was driving near Stella and Pantano roads witnessed a child showing what looked like a gun to other children.
Police searched the school and found a pellet gun in an eighth grade student’s backpack. His parents were called, and the investigation continues.
