Authorities are looking into two separate incidents of robbers stealing money from Girl Scouts selling cookies.
On Saturday night at the Fry’s Grocery Store on First and Grant two young women approached a young girl scout and began distracting her with unusual questions. One of the young robbers then grabbed the cash box and the two robbers fled in a get-away car which had been waiting for them nearby.
The vehicle’s license plate was covered and witnesses say they believe that the robbery was planned in advance a man walked out of the Bookman’s store and grabbed the cash box.
The victims chased him but he got away with more than $200 in hard earned money.
