Last two outlaws in Outlaw Saloon beating identified

On March 7, 2013, detectives with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office made another arrest in the case of a mob attack on a group of three adults at the Outlaw Saloon in Tucson. Brittany Rene Walker Trostle, age 27, was arrested on three counts of Aggravated Assault and booked into the Pima County Adult Center.

The final suspect out of the group of ten attackers has been identified as Fredrick A. Nelson, age 33. Nelson is also known by the nickname “Lurch” and is from the Phoenix area. Detectives are in the process of obtaining an arrest warrant for Nelson.

The Sheriff’s Office says that the quick resolution of this case was possible due to a great number of tips they received after detectives made the incident public. The community responded swiftly and repeatedly as the number of unidentified suspects quickly dwindled. Follow-up requests by detectives for information on the remaining suspects received the same attention and a great number of tips came in each time. The Pima County Sheriff’s Office greatly appreciates the information provided by the community. We take great pride in working together closely with our citizens,” said Captain Chris Nanos, Commander for the Criminal Investigations Division. “Time and time again, this has led to the successful conclusion of investigations.”

The additional suspects arrested were identified as:

• Cody Berkbigler (24)
• Samuel Ramsey (29)
• Robert Russell (42)
• Marty Russell (41)
• Alan Nierenberg (38)
• Amanda Pandola (30)
• Reid Pandola (30)
