Amphi High School student, Jose Coronado, has been chosen as the winner of the 2013 Congressional Art Competition from Arizona’s Third Congressional District. Jose’s artwork, “Diffused Delicacy,” a digital photography piece, will be displayed in the Cannon Corridor of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., throughout the following year.
Jose is a junior at Amphi in Tucson. “Diffused Delicacy” was his response to a ‘simplicity in photography’ assignment given in an art class last August.
Jose will fly to Washington for the first time in his life later this year for the June 26 awards reception. He will be joined by his mother Maria Barrios de Coronado.
