Tucson Police identify victim of Sunday shooting

Michael Moore, age 21, has been identified as the victim of a shooting in Tucson yesterday. The Tucson Police Department received several 911 calls from citizens advising that they heard multiple shots being fired in the area of an apartment complex located at 4650 East 29th Street on April 29.

Officers located Mr. Moore, who was suffering from gunshot trauma, in the parking lot of the complex. Tucson Fire Department emergency medical personnel also responded to the apartment complex. They transported Mr. Moore to a local hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment of his injuries. Unfortunately, Mr. Moore succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital and was pronounced deceased.

Detectives say at this time, no suspect(s) or motive(s) have been identified. The Tucson Police Department urges anyone having information about the motive(s) and/or suspects(s) involved in this incident to call 911 or 88-Crime.
