On June 13, 2013, just before 7:30 a.m., a call was made to 911 in reference to a male lying in the middle of the road on Old Vail Connection near Country Club Road. The Pima County Sheriff’s Office and Rural Metro Fire Department originally responded and located a male deceased in the middle of the road with obvious signs of trauma.
PCSO secured the scene and contacted the Tucson Police Department to conduct the investigation.
Tucson Police Department officers responded to initiate the investigation. Detectives confirmed the victim is a 20-year old Hispanic male but are not releasing his name pending notification of the next of kin. At this time the investigation is ongoing and the Tucson Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
