
PHOENIX – Rachel Henry has been arrested for the deaths of her three children. She was charged with 3 counts of 1st degree murder after admitting to killing the children.
According to Phoenix Police, the 22-year-old Henry confessed to police she took the lives of her 3-year-old boy, 2-year-old girl and a 7-month girl.
Police responded to a residence near 24th Street and Baseline around 7:30 Monday evening. When officers arrived they found the children all unresponsive.
Officers attempted CPR but were unable to revive the children. Phoenix Fire pronounced all three kids dead at the scene.
The mother, father and another adult relative were all in the home at the time. Henry, a meth addict, sang to her children as she deliberately smothered each one to death, according to police.
The family moved to Arizona over the summer from Oklahoma.
