McCain “hasn’t found a conflict” we shouldn’t arm

Popular Arizona congressman David Schweikert has earned a badge of honor among the majority of republicans this week when he was caught on video telling Utah Senator Mike Lee that Senator John McCain hates him.

In a conversation about Egypt and Syria with Lee and FreedomWorks president Matt Kibbe, at a Tea Party event, Schweikert talked about McCain’s dislike of him. “I love John, but he hasn’t found a conflict he doesn’t think we should arm or bomb,” he said. McCain is a Neocon who has lost disfavor among the grassroots of the Party.

McCain is considered to be the titular head of the Republican Party establishment, which is quickly being rejected by the rank and file. His comments about Tea Party members being “hobbits” caused him to lose support among even the most liberal in the Party for its divisiveness. In the video, Schweikert addresses the condescending McCain’s comments about “tea party hobbits [who] voted against the debt deal. That was directed at me. Then a few months ago he goes, ‘the worst vote I’ve ever made was supporting the debt deal with the sequestration there.’ Make up your mind. I’m a hobbit or I was brilliant – One or the other.”

Schweikert concluded, “He hates me… he has no sense of humor when it’s about him.”

McCain’s lack of a sense of humor is one of many reasons he has become virtually a pariah in his own state. One Republican Party insider said of McCain, “He needs to resign, he calls everyone else kooks, but he is a one man wrecking crew. If he can’t bomb a country, he is out shooting down the members of his own party.”
