An arrest has been made in the November 21st murder of Linda Daley. Detectives charged 39-year-old Michelle Marie Price with one count of 2nd Degree Murder.
Price was already booked into the Pima County Jail for an unrelated crime. Detectives added the murder charge earlier Thursday.
On November 21, 2013, at 11:46 a.m., Tucson Police officers responded to a check welfare call in the 1800 block of West Pueblo Vista Boulevard. A neighbor reported to 911 that she had gone next door to visit Ms. Daley.
She went inside after receiving no response at the door and located the neighbor with obvious signs of trauma. She immediately left the home and called 911. Upon arrival, officers located 65-year-old Daley inside the residence with obvious signs of trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were also two dogs inside the home, which had been injured.
