Northwest teen arsonists arrested

On February 3, 2014, Pima County Sheriff’s Department Arson detectives arrested 16-year-old Nathan Ayers and 18-year-old Dariun Beech. They are accused of being responsible for starting three fires near Magee Road and Shannon Road on February 3, 2014.

The two are also under investigation for arsons dating back to January 24, 2014.

Nathan Ayers was transported to the Pima County Juvenile Court Center and booked on the following charges:
• Arson of a Structure or Property
• Burning of Wildlands

Darius Beech was transported to the Pima County Adult Detention Center and booked on the following changes:
• Reckless Burning
• Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor

Anyone with information regarding the fires is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88 CRIME
