Kwasman earning broad spectrum of support

montenegroArizona State Representative and candidate in the U.S. House race for Arizona’s 1st Congressional District (CD1) is racking up endorsements. The non-establishment candidate, Adam Kwasman, just won the endorsement of State Rep. Steve Montenegro (LD13).

Montenegro, who has grown very popular across the state, said, “I am supporting Adam because of his proven conservative record. I also have a great appreciation for how his personal faith in God guides him and reminds him of our nation’s blessed origins and the God-given rights we must always be vigilant in protecting.”

Rep. Montenegro becomes the fourteenth State House Member to endorse Kwasman over his primary opponent, House Speaker Andy Tobin. Tobin, an establishment favorite, has lost considerable support from the grassroots and nearly half of the House Republican caucus.

Arizona State Representatives who have endorsed Kwasman include conservatives like Darin Mitchell (LD13) and Bob Thorpe (LD6), as well as moderates like Ethan Orr (LD9), and TJ Shope (LD8). Kwasman has also won the support of Steve Smith (LD11), David Stevens (LD14), Brenda Barton (LD 6), and House Majority Leader, David Gowan (LD14).
