Coconino County runaways found in shed

Coconino County runaways, Gregoria Mocasque, age 13, and Troy Stallings, age 11, were taken into custody without incident on Wednesday by Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputies after the deputies, United States Marshall’s Service Task Force members, Flagstaff Police Officers and Civilian Patrol Volunteers spent all day Tuesday searching for the two missing juveniles and going door to door in the Doney Park neighborhood informing residents of the two possibly armed runaway juveniles, who may have been in the area.

At about 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Emergency Dispatcher’s received a call from a woman, who lives in the Doney Park Neighborhood, advising she was watching the two suspects in the area of the pond located off of Foster Road. Two Deputies were in the immediate area checking an abandoned shed when they received the call. At 5:07 p.m., the Deputies were on scene with the two subjects in custody without incident.

The concerned citizen had been contacted earlier in the day by law enforcement officials and apprised of the possible danger. She was provided with a flyer that included photographs of both subjects. Both Mocasque and Stallings were released to Coconino County Juvenile Detention officials late Tuesday evening.
