On Tuesday March 11, 2014, at approximately 8:25 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to a report that a man entered the Circle K located at 5818 S. Palo Verde Road, and immediately started to yell, and told everyone to get on the ground. The suspect then pointed a box cutter at the clerk and demanded money and liquor.
The clerk complied and gave the suspect what he demanded. The suspect left from the store with an undetermined amount of cash and liquor. No one was injured during the incident. The suspect is described as:
• Caucasian or Hispanic male
• Average build
• With tattoos along his neck
• 20 to 25-years-old
• Approximately 5’11” in height
• Wearing a black bandana over his face, a black beanie hat with the word “fresh” on it in white lettering, a white long-sleeved shirt, dark grey or black sweat pants, and black shoes
The Sheriff’s Department Robbery/Assault Unit is currently trying to identify the suspect involved in this robbery. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call 88-CRIME or 9-1-1.
