On May 6, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m., Tucson Police Department officers were flagged down reference several vehicles that had been broken into near St. Mary’s Hospital and Tumamoc Hill. Upon arrival officers were provided with a description of a possible suspect and his vehicle.
After a search of the surrounding area, two officers were able to locate the matching suspect and vehicle. Property belonging to more than 6 victims was located in the suspect’s possession. Five victims were identified and their property recovered.
The suspect was arrested on charges stemming from 3 separate incidents involving vehicle break-ins. He was transported to the Pima County Jail and booked.
