From March 25, 2014 through June 22, 2014, two suspects have committed no less than fifteen armed robberies at pharmacies in the East Valley — Chandler, Mesa, Tempe and Scottsdale. The suspects usually wear surgical masks or cover their faces; in one incident a handgun was displayed. Some of the robberies have occurred at the pharmacy drive through windows.
The first suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, 30-40 years old, 6′ to 6’2″ tall, medium to heavy build. The second suspect is described as a White male, 22-29 years old, 6′ tall, thin build.
According to Mesa Police, various vehicles have been used, including sport utility vehicles.
