Circle K robber turns himself in

Umberto Robles Durazo, the suspect in two Circle K robberies from July 3, 2012, contacted the Pima County Sheriff’s Department last night, saying that he wanted to turn himself in. He called from a payphone at a convenience store and explained that family members had told him about his picture being on the news.

Pima County deputies responded to the location and took him into custody without incident.

Robles Durazo, age 31, was later booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center.

Detectives are still looking for the suspect involved in a robbery on June 27, 2012 at the Circle K at 2840 W. Los Reales Road.
