Phoenix Police have released two photos related to the murders of William Singer, age 81 years old, and his wife Barbara Singer, age 64. The photos show both victims obtaining cash from an ATM at a bank located near 3400 West Bell Rd.
The first transaction by Mr. Singer occurred just after 10:30 p.m. on June 28, 2014. The second transaction occurred approximately 15 minutes later by Mrs. Singer.
Police are hoping this new information will trigger new leads.
On July 2, 2014, at approximately 3 p.m., Phoenix Police Officers responded to a call of a “check welfare” at the Singer’s residence. The caller was a caretaker for one of the victim’s and indicated they had obtained no answer at the door. Officers arrived on scene and found the Singers inside the residence deceased.
Detectives determined that the Singers were murdered.
The couple was married for over 30 years.
