The Black Moods rock – return of the lost wallet

the-black-moodsIt was 3:45 a.m. and Nick the tour manager just found a wallet full of cash at gas station in Tyler, Texas. But The Black Moods a 3 piece rock band from Tempe, Arizona decided to solve this mystery and get the wallet back to the owner.

After searching online for a while, they found Rebeca Bellemare on Facebook. Even though she was over 250 miles away in Austin, Texas they decided to return it to her in person, according to the group..

Mark Mayz, The Black Moods manager said, “The band decided to return the wallet in person because they didn’t trust handing it off to another person to take care of it. They looked after it as if it were their own wallet. Her father lived in Austin, which is where they were headed. It was a four hour drive from where they found it.”

Once they connected with her on Facebook, she asked them to meet up with her father. Once her father met up with them in Austin and reclaimed the wallet he said, “You guys have no idea how deeply I appreciate this. I just told my wife, I’ve got to listen to their music now… I’m almost in tears I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.”

After The Black Moods returned it they said to the camera, “Kids you always do the right thing and don’t do drugs.”

The Black Moods musically can be described as raw rock ‘n’ roll. “The trio blends various rock and roll styles that span from the past 4 decades to form their own signature sound that resembles Led Zeppelin mixed with Tom Petty/Foo Fighters,” says Mayz.

Mayz added, “The tour is going great, they’ve been playing bigger shows like Circus Mexicus in Mexico and opening for Fuel. They will be back in Phoenix Aug 30 at the Crescent Ballroom.”
