In Arizona, ranchers and others living along the southern border have said that the border is insecure and they are at risk. James O’Keefe, of Project Veritas, released a video this week from the Texas – Mexico border, demonstrating that even Osama Bin Laden would have had an easy entrance if he were alive today.
O’Keefe says that what he discovered there “should worry every American.”
The video shows O’Keefe disguised as Osama bin Laden crossing the Rio Grande.
“Here in west Texas, the border is just a muddy sliver of a river,” says O’Keefe as he slips on the mask of the dead mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks. “I am about to cross into the United States just like thousands of illegal immigrants do every single year.”
O’Keefe points out that Border Patrol was nowhere in sight as his team prepared for the crossing.
“This border is not secure. No one is on watch; even though Osama bin Laden could cross. For years we have been told the border is secure,” states O’Keefe.
Earlier this year, the AZDI reported from the border on the plight of the ranchers. Now, the nation is slowly awakening to a truth the ranchers have known for some time; the border is not secure and the Mexican cartels are in control since the U.S. government relinquished it.
The ranchers, like John Ladd, work tirelessly to feed us while protecting themselves and their families. They have been abandoned on the U.S. soil that they have occupied for over a hundred years.
“The media lies, and the people in Washington D.C. lie and they absolutely refuse to tell the truth,” says rancher Ed Ashurst. “That’s why I am here. We’re not the only ones who say this but, that’s my whole deal, that’s why I agreed to talk. The American people do not know the truth about what’s going on here.”
Ashurst, who ranches near Lordsburg, New Mexico, joined John Ladd on his Arizona ranch to discuss the situation on the border between Mexico and the United States. To read, The U.S. Mexico border is wide open, click here.
