On the morning of September 1, 2014, the owner of Beni’s Pizza, located in the 34500 block of Old Black Canyon Highway, reported that his business was burglarized overnight.
Based on a review of video security images, the apparent lone suspect entered the business by breaking in a window. Once inside, the suspect tore away drywall and gained access to the front counter and office stealing several hundred dollars in cash. The suspect also turned off power to the restaurant resulting in extensive damage to food products under refrigeration. Food loss value exceeds $2000.
The suspect is described as a male, age 20’s to early 30’s, medium build, wearing:
• a camouflage design hooded jacket
• shorts
• black sneakers,
• white socks.
The burglary occurred at approximately 12:30 AM on September 1, 2014.
