“Stupid” American voters reject both Obamacare and Common Core

By Brad McQueen

Videos of Obamacare architect  Jonathan Gruber proclaiming that the lack of transparency in the creation and marketing of Obamacare along with the “stupidity of the American voter” were key in getting it passed into law, lays bare the progressive’s absolute disdain for the American voter whom they see as an obstacle to implementing their radical agenda.  This same template was used in the creation and continues to be used in the marketing of the federal takeover of the American public education system known as the Common Core.

Common Core is the federal takeover and centralization of education which includes mandated federal Common Core learning standards and NSA-like data suctioning systems put in place in our schools which suction all manner of personal data about students and their families from preschool to workforce up to the data vaults at the federal government.

Governors of forty-six cash strapped states agreed to replace their state education systems with the federal Common Core education system back in 2010 in exchange for billions of dollars in stimulus money offered by the Obama administration.

The Common Core and Obamacare have much in common, so it only makes perfect sense that the same strategy be employed for both.  In short, Common Core is the Obamacare of education.

Like Obamacare, the Common Core:

  1. Was hurriedly written in secret with no input from those impacted.
  2. Keeps its true goals of centralization and control camouflaged.
  3. Is a federal government overreach into our lives in contradiction of clearly stated powers assigned to the states in the U.S. Constitution under the 10th Amendment.
  4. Is a federal and corporate intrusion into our private property (data collection).
  5. Will lower the standards in a sector of society that it purports to want to raise.
  6. Will cost much greater than promised.
  7. Will add to the deterioration of our country’s exceptionalism.
  8. Was put into place by coercing states with the promise of federal money.
  9. Is a collusion between Big Business hungering for profit and Big Government hungering for power and control.
  10. Is a centrally controlled delivery system, shaped by Big Government and steeped in the progressive world view of uniformity.
  11. Is being opposed by a grassroots opposition as the effects of its implementation are being felt.
  12. Will be defeated by the grassroots opposition.

Those “stupid” American voters roared at the ballot box this past November 4th and resoundingly rejected the progressive policies weakening our country’s exceptionalism such as Obamacare and the Common Core.

Equally disdainful of the American voters are a small group of progressives here in Arizona who, along with a complicit liberal media, have begun beating the drum for the recall of anti-Common Core Superintendent of Public Instruction-elect Diane Douglas before she has even had a chance to serve one day in office.  Stomping their feet like  toddlers throwing a temper tantrum, they demand a recall seemingly based on what she might do not what she has done in office.

There are no grounds for a recall with these people other than the fact that they feel the voters in Arizona were  just “too stupid” to make the correct choice for their children’s chief educator and they want to correct that mistake.  Their true goals of attempting to thwart the will of Arizona’s voters, not to mention throwing a first class hissy fit, are also laid bare for all to see.

The voters in in Arizona have spoken and by more than 17,000 votes they chose Diane Douglas this past November 4th to lead our Department of Education.  The Arizona Chamber of Commerce, the establishment political parties, and millions of dollars could not thwart the will of Arizonans in the Republican primary or in the general election.

Thank God for “stupid” voters. Your days are numbered Obamacare…tick, tock Common Core.
