On Saturday Feburary 28th, the unveiling ceremony of the Brian Terry statue took place at the Brian Terry Border Patrol Station, located in Bisbee AZ.
According to the Brian Terry Foundation, artist Cole Kynaston “left no detail behind. He even used Brian’s actual boot to create his foot print.”
Operation Fast and Furious resulted in the death of Agent Terry while he was patrolling near Rio Rico. Terry was shot and killed by criminals yielding assault rifles that were traced to a straw purchaser for Mexican drug cartels in Arizona who the ATF knew about and allowed to deliver the weapons to the cartels.
