Pima County armed robbery suspect sought

quick-martDetectives from the Sheriff’s Department Robbery/Assault Unit are seeking the identity of a suspect that is believed to be responsible for two armed robberies.

The first incident occurred at the Quik Mart, located at 2760 W. Curtis Rd. on March 18, 2015.

The second incident occurred at the Quik Mart, located at 4611 N. Flowing Wells Rd. on March 19, 2015.

Both robberies occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. In each incident, the male suspect was armed with a knife and demanded money from the register. Once he was given an undisclosed amount of money, he told the cashier to go to the back of the store. The suspect fled on foot soon after. No one was injured.

The Caucasian male suspect is described as:

• Approximately 5’9” tall and weighing 190 pounds

• Wearing blue pants, a grey hooded sweatshirt, a white t-shirt over the grey sweatshirt, a black bandana over his mouth, and sunglasses
